“I recently adopted three children (all siblings) who had experienced quite a bit of abuse and trauma from their biological home. The depth of their trauma and the resulting difficult behaviors caused their therapist to recommend neurofeedback therapy through Brighten the Brain. After talking with Mrs. Kochevar about the children, she recommended that I receive the treatments as well because of secondary trauma, trauma that occurs to caregivers of traumatized children. After my session, I felt noticeably calmer. By the third session, I felt ‘back to myself’ again. I was amazed at how well these neurofeedback sessions worked! The sessions are expensive, especially with multiple family member, but they became priceless when I saw the results in my children and myself! With the continued support of a loving, supportive, patient home and these neurofeedback sessions, my children are thriving, and I am too!
